"Educare" is educational childcare which is provided in a home away from home atmosphere that provides a  well-rounded educational and developmental program for your child.  While your child is in our care, their activities are planned to provide comprehensive learning, positive experiences, self esteem building, socialization, and preschool instruction for children of appropriate age and development.  We also do our very best to provide these important elements through planning their activities to include the mandatory element for a young child which is just plain fun.

CLOSURES -  Wednesday, May 25, 2009 for Memorial Day

Recipe of the Month
HOME MADE PLAY DOUGH: 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 4T Cream of Tarter, 2 cups water, 2T. oil, food coloring. Mix all dry ingredients, in separate container mix water, oil & coloring, Add together in a large cooking pan (we use an electric skillet)  Heat over stove on Medium Heat, stirring CONSTANTLY, until it thickens and becomes dough-like. Remove from pan & knead (I knead the dough in small sections first). Store in a zip lock bag.

* I get many requests from parents for the lunch recipes. Now you can tell your child, Miss Kelly told you how to make it right. Each lunch has a source of protein, fruit, vegetable, bread and served with milk. If you have a special recipe request you would like me to post, let me know.

Current openings - Last update March 31, 2009

Parents should make an appointment to have a tour of the facility.  We do not keep a waiting list.  If our classrooms are full and you are waiting to enroll, we recommend you check this page for the latest updates for openings. I update this page as changes are in effect.  If someone should give us notice, we will post the opening as soon as possible.  Call ahead for a tour as I also teach in the classroom and need to make arrangements when giving a tour. (If you need care sooner than is posted, call anyway.)
